Daniele Lo Scalzo Moscheri
He was born on 9th November 1963. In 1987 he got a degree at the Faculty of Architecture in Milano. In 1988 Master in “Advanced technology application on industrial design manufactory” – Tampa University, Florida, Usa. Since 1987 advisor of Piero Lissoni and he has been working for Boffi, Porro, Matteograssi, Iren, Living and Artemide. In 1993 he opened his professional office in Via De Sanctis in Milano, dealing with product design and advertising.

Composit Cucine was born in 1974 by an original idea of Belligotti brothers. They had for the previous 60 years, a production activity of furnishing for residential market with “Belligotti” trademark .
Today, Belligotti group works with two trademarks: firstly is an industrial division of 13,000 square meters designed only for the production of kitchens distributed under “Composit” trademark. Secondly, a productive area of 6000 square meters for furnishing, marketed under “Belligotti” label.

The Microbial Home Concept is Eco-Friendly
If you're a fan of resourcefulness, then this concept Microbial Home by Philips Design is the ideal place to hang your hat.
Aside from the home's sleek, slightly industrial styling, this abode is almost entirely self-sustaining. The heart of any home is the kitchen, and this center boasts a methane digester, which converts bathroom waste solids and vegetable trimmings into methane gas used to power other features in the home, and generates it's own bio-gas. Bio-gas is used to power instruments in the home, and is created from a culture of bacteria living on organic waste.
The home is also equipped with an urban beehive designed for keeping bees at home. This is done to create an astounding lighting system lit by a live bacteria that emits soft green light through bio-luminescence and a plastic waste up-cycler. With so many eco-friendly features, the Microbial Home shows that you can live well without leaving a hefty carbon footprint.

The case of the vanishing island – mirrored panels on the base of this long island give it an invisible quality. The chunky Calacatta marble benchtop appears to float in defiance of the laws of gravity.
As the social centre of the home, the modern kitchen is becoming even more integrated into the living space. In this new penthouse, it goes one step further – it is the pièce de résistance, the entertainment centre around which everything else revolves.
The new penthouse is a modern addition to the rooftop of a pre-war solid masonry building opposite Bondi Beach. Architect Kevin Ng of MPRDG says the highly contemporary architecture was designed to make a clear distinction between the new and the old, with the angular geometry of the exterior echoed on the interior. The irregular, jointed composite steel ceiling panels, for example, mimic the white Alucobond cladding. And the angled sides of the fireplace and waterfall end of the kitchen island repeat a theme evident on the exterior. "We have also integrated the rear of the kitchen with the rest of the apartment," says Ng. "The high-gloss cabinets are sleek, white panels just like the curved, white composite steel walls that wrap around the entry and main circulation spine," Ng says.
A chunky Calacatta marble island benchtop introduces pattern to the mix. The architect says the marble slabs were carefully bookmatched to provide seamless joins. With mirrored panels on the front and side of the island rendering the base almost invisible, the marble benchtop appears to float within the space. The perimeter benchtop, splashback and Qasair hood are in stainless steel, which also has a reflective quality. "We positioned the sink and the cooktop on the island so the owners could enjoy the spectacular views while working in the kitchen,"says Ng. "But this meant we couldn't conceal the ventilation within the cabinetry. "The Qasair hood is a very large, suspended rectilinear box that's in keeping with the minimal lines of the rest of the apartment. It continues the strong, sculptural look of the island." Where possible, appliances are integrated into the cabinetry, so they are not an intrusive element in the living area. And cabinets and drawers have touch openings and recessed pulls, so there is no obvious hardware. In addition to the storage provided within the kitchen, there is a large walk-in pantry behind the wall nearest the large sliding door to the rooftop terrace.

Definitely not for the omission of the rangehood above the cooktop, for the timber shelve above cooking area that gets greasy, dirty, hard to clean
