About the Author
Valentin Tinc has the privilege to be born in a historical place with rich tradition in craft and arts: Transylvania, on September 19, 1961. He developed from early stages a passion for art and designs which he pursuit until present days.Tinc is a professional designer whose career spans for more than 20 years, covering various projects such as interiors, furniture, kitchen, bathrooms, objects, art. His experience has been enriched by moving from Europe to New Zealand and later on to Melbourne, Australia. The cultural variety and diversity encountered throughout his journey, influenced and informed his work. Since 1989, he exhibited in more than 50 art and design exhibitions in Germany, Romania, and New Zealand. He also received first price in Dulux Color Award 2003, Category Creative Expression, and was Highly Commended in Best Design Award 2003, both in New Zealand. He taught for nine years interior design in Auckland New Zealand and Melbourne Australia. The range of lectures and subjects he delivered cover: Kitchen design, Space planning, Trompe L’Oeil, Wall coverings Design, Perspective drawing, History of Decoration and design, Interior design Studio, Design methods and techniques, and History context for Bachelor of Design programme.
