Founded in 1892 in the heart of Germany, Poggenpohl is the oldest and best-known kitchen brand in the world- present in more than 70 countries around the globe.

Since then, the company has  followed in the footsteps of their great founder, Friedemir Poggenpohl, with his vision to ‘improve the kitchen’.
For 120 years, Poggenpohl has been reinventing life in the kitchen one idea at a time.  Poggenpohl was the first to introduce many transformative innovations including white lacquer furniture,  the first wooden kitchen, and the first island kitchen.

Innovative refrigerator design for your kitchen

From Australia

We start with this number, the publication of top 30 Australian Kitchen , as announced by Trends Magazine, in no particular order.
Utz Sanby Architects, Neutral Bay, NSW

This airy kitchen by Utz Sanby Architects forms part of a house that is cooled by passive ventilation. Clerestory windows and shutters vent hot air while the sliding doors bring in cool breezes at both ends of the open-plan space.

The blue-grey zinc panels on the island merge tonally with the off-white perimeter cabinetry – painted the same colour as the walls to blend in. CaesarStone for the benchtop and splashback was also specified in complementary tones.

The exterior cladding folds into the interior and can be seen alongside the stairs that lead down to the entry and bedrooms. Clerestory windows and glass louvres right around the room give the roof a floating appeal. -

The rear wall includes integrated refrigeration, a large pantry and ample storage. Seating for four is incorporated at the end of the elongated island.
